I'm so glad that you both read and liked this :) That dynamic is something I'm a sucker for, and I wasn't sure if I was able to pull it off successfully; the romance too, I can't picture them as a "I wuff you" sort of couple, so in writing I found it a struggle to portray actual affection in circumstance and acts more than words.
